Lindsey Willette is a painter whose work moves between abstraction and figuration, drawing on nature, the body, and the charged space where the two dissolve into each other.
Rooted in a childhood spent drawing and a mother who made art, she came to painting through an unlikely path. A career in industrial design sharpened her eye for form while temporarily sidelining her instinct to make work purely for the love of it.
Five years into a dedicated painting practice, Willette works in acrylic and mixed media, building canvases through layered mark-making, saturated color, and a process that lets the work find its own shape. Her paintings are collected privately.
